We thought it might be fun to graph this data in order to visualize trends over time.

Ex Apple/Spotify: all apps excluding Apple/Spotify-owned apps

Note the large reclassification in November 2020 of share moving from Apple Podcasts to (uncategorized). It’s likely Buzzsprout started excluding AppleCoreMedia in November 2020, which means they are now likely underreporting the true Apple Podcasts number by quite a bit.
